Cafe de Charlotte, a cafe in Taipei that I would like to recommend to you guys. It is located near MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing station in the heart of Taipei, easy to access. The highlight of this shop is that the shop decorated in Greek style. Starting from the cover of menu that using the picture of four seasons god, as well as the tables and chairs in front of the shop could give you classic vibe.
In the cafe
The shop is decorated in warm colors. The walls behind the counter is painted with Greek gods art, and the another wall is equipped with mirror. They also use record player as a decoration giving you more classic vibe. When entering the shop, you will be greeted by the owner. The owner is very friendly, my friend ordered the wrong coffee, but the owner did not charge any extra for a cup of coffee.
Menu
There are many types of drinks to choose. Beer is also available. But most importantly, the shop has a lot of strange coffee to try, who loves coffee cannot miss this. For example, there are coffee from Guatemala, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda and more
Cold Brew (220 NTD) is served in a stainless steel tray with a glass and a large ice cube and you have to pour into glass.
Iced cocoa (160 NTD) from this cafe is not bitter at all. And most importantly, the cocoa is not too powdery (which I prefer) and it smells very good. (Personally, I recommend this menu)
Desserts
Let’s come to the dessert menu. I ordered vanilla tarts and chocolate cakes. Personally, the chocolate cake is salty, which is a taste that we don’t like. But vanilla tarts are very delicious and sweet. You can share with friends. The cafe also has other desserts to choose. You can try it.
