Have you ever tried authentic taste of Thai food especially for Padthai? here is the food guide for real Padthai in Taiwan guaranteed by me, a girl from Thailand. This restaurant called “Day Day Happy Food” Thai fusion restaurant in Zhongshan district. Aside from Thai food, there are some Hongkong food as well.
Restaurant vibe
Inside the restaurant decorated 90’s style, full of vintage vibe. An iconic arcade game console would remind you about your childhood day. Moreover, they put Chinese character LED light on the wall given Wong Gar-wai movie atmosphere.
Menu
Padthai (泰味鮮蝦炒河粉)
This is the best dish of this restaurant for me, the taste is so so authentic Thai. You can feel the good smell form Padthai sauce, a long with 3 big shrimps on the top. Besides, they add dried salted prawn and also some fried tofu which are we really eat in Thailand!
Fried instant noodle (泰味豬肉超公仔麵)
Distinguish Thai signature instant noodle, fried with pork and top with fried egg, served with Thai seafood dipping sauce which make me feel like I was in Thailand.
Fried chicken with yogurt sauce (無骨酸奶炸雞)
Boneless fried chicken and potato chip top with yogurt sauce. The mix of yogurt and mayonnaise is really good I wold recommend this one is a must you should try!
Hongkong style pineapple bun (菠蘿包)
Pineapple bun filling with butter melting in your mouth so tasty~ this also the one you should try
Thai milk tea （泰式淡奶茶）
No Thai milk tea = not Thai restaurant! Thai milk tea here I could say that it’s real Thai! They add milk in it while other store I’ve tried before don’t add milk in it
Anyway, there are still many dish that I haven’t tried yet, so you guys can try other menu
